Shelley has had a passion for drawing and painting since she was a child. After high school Shelley attended UMass, Amherst where she received a full scholarship for her high grades and excellence in her portfolio. She later went on to Bridgewater State College where she received her degree in Fine Arts and Education.

Shelley's career as a muralist began nearly 20 years ago when her daughter, Emily, was born. With little money to decorate, Shelley decided to paint a magical Cinderella scene on her daughter's wall. Her friends began hiring her to do their children's rooms and Shelley's career snowballed.

Since then Shelley's mural's have graced the walls of homes and businesses across Massachusetts including Jordan's Furniture of Reading, Natick and Avon, Gold's Gym of East Bridgewater and Pufferbellies Entertainment Center of Hyannis.
